Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of EduScope AI (the "Service"), an online exam-preparation platform providing curriculum-based study notes, practice questions, exam-style mock papers, an AI tutor and an AI revision planner. The Service is operated by Lukesh A/L Sasikumar, an individual based in Malaysia, trading as "EduScope AI" ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with Lukesh A/L Sasikumar.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. Paid subscriptions for minors must be bought by a parent or guardian.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Licence

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own study within the plan you selected. You must not resell, redistribute or copy the Service or its content, reverse engineer it, or bypass usage limits or technical restrictions.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

• using it for any unlawful purpose, fraud or spam;
• infringing anyone's intellectual property, including uploading copyrighted exam papers or textbooks you have no right to share;
• interfering with security — introducing malware, probing or testing vulnerabilities, or scraping or harvesting data;
• harassing others, or submitting hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content.

5. AI features

• The AI tutor and planner generate responses automatically. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete — always check important information against your teacher, textbook and official Ministry of Education documents. AI output is not professional advice.
• You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use the outputs, and for having the right to submit any content you provide.
• You must not try to make the AI produce illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech or malware, or attempt to jailbreak or bypass its safeguards.
• As between you and us, you keep the rights to your inputs, and you may use outputs for your personal study. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
• Rights holders can report infringing content to hello@eduscope.ai. We will review and remove it where appropriate, and may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe.

6. Educational content

Our study material and exam-style papers are original works written to follow the Malaysian national curriculum (KSSR/KSSM). They are not official Ministry of Education or Lembaga Peperiksaan materials, and estimated grades are only a guide. We do not guarantee any examination result.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, content, documentation and the EduScope AI brand. Links to official government documents are provided for convenience; those documents belong to their owners.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Premium renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Premium until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.

9. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We may change or discontinue features.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. When your account ends, we delete or anonymise your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses (such as loss of data or opportunity). Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these Terms and will show the new date above.
